New Series Starting -- ODESSA FREMONT, Guardian of the Time Stream, by Michelle Levigne

Are you ready for some time travel, gizmos, and tough chicks?

In April, Desert Breeze Publishing will release ODESSA FREMONT, the prequel to the Guardians of the Time Stream steampunk series by Michelle Levigne.

This could be labeled a YA, as Ess is only 14 when she decides to run away from boarding school. By the time she screeches to a halt at the end of the book -- thanks to train robbers, the Pinkertons and a bullet! -- she's worked with the Secret Service and saved President Lincoln's life (so he can run for a 4th term!) and worked for the circus.

So what's she going to do once she turns 17? Find out about her career as a Pinkerton when she runs into the BLUE LOTUS SOCIETY in September!

Check out Michelle's website -- www.Mlevigne.com -- or Desert Breeze Publishing -- www.DesertBreezePublishing.com -- for more information!

New Commonwealth Universe novel by Michelle Levigne: NOVA VENDETTA #2: The Truce

The newest release in the Commonwealth Universe, from Writers Exchange:

NOVA VENDETTA #2: The Truce

Niall and his crew were just centimeters away from freedom, escaping in the stolen starship they had christened the Nova Vendetta. Then disaster struck, paralyzing their ship. Retaken as prisoners, they found themselves transported on the very ship that had been their ticket to freedom.

Then the unthinkable happened: experimental technology and a risky gamble put the ship under their control. The escaped prisoners headed for the furthest reaches of known space, determined to stay free at any cost.

Labeled rebels and pirates and criminals, they held to the principles that had let them survive and stay Human during their time in prison. To the outlying colonies slowly being abandoned by the disintegration of the Central Allied Worlds, the crew of the Nova Vendetta and its slowly growing fleet of allies were heroes in the truest sense of the word.

Then the revolution reached out to threaten Niall's homeworld. It was time to go home. He had to protect Sorendaal, even if it meant giving himself into the hands of the very people who wanted him dead.

Been to NEIGHBORLEE, OHIO recently?

LONDON HOLIDAY
The new Neighborlee, Ohio book by Michelle Levigne

What happens when you combine a weird video camera (with triangular batteries), a computer programming assignment, an attack by an interdimensional invader, and the magic of Divine's Emporium?

Athena Longfellow and her cousin, Doni Halliday, find out the hard way when they learn they have the task/talent to be "guardians" for the odd little town of Neighborlee -- the weirdness capital of the United States, possibly of the world. When they start having dreams that "eavesdrop" on a recurring enemy of their town trying to break through the dimensional barriers, an overnight stay at Divine's ends up with Athena chasing a doppelganger of Doni through a weird, mirror version of the shop.

Several years later, they are still feeling the repercussions as Athena starts college and participates in an experimental computer programming class. When they use Doni as the "face" of the fictional host of a social networking site, London Holiday is born ... and the weirdness only escalates.

Who, or what, is London Holiday?

Read the book, from Uncial Press, to find out!

Other titles set in Neighborlee, Ohio include: Divine's Emporium, Have Yourself a Faerie Little Christmas, and Divine Knight. Note: The events of London Holiday take place before the other three books.

New Tabor Heights, Ohio novel: WHEELS

It's HERE!
WHEELS, The 4th book of Year 2 of Michelle Levigne's Tabor Heights series, has just been released by Desert Breeze Publishing, Inc.
Please go over to the web site and check out ALL the NEW books from DBP.

What's WHEELS about?
The girl next door, forgiveness, memories, danger, dreams ... Yeah, like that really makes you want to read it?
Tommy Donnelly, Tabor's resident comedian, is heading up a Handicap Awareness Walk ... err ... ROLL in Tabor Heights. Natalie Schaefer, a report for America's Voice, has come to town to cover the walk, because she's been doing a lot of little side pieces on handicap accessibility in the magazine. Why has she been doing this? Well, Natalie was the little girl across the street who adored Tommy when they were children. She planned on marrying him someday ... then Tommy broke his back and his family disintegrated and Natalie's father took them to a new town. Should she tell him who she is, and remind him of their shared past?
In the middle of all this, a young man Tommy is helping, who has just been released from prison, is getting some pressure from former associates to return to his old life ... and to use Tommy to hide their activities.

HERE'S THE FUN PART:
Michelle based this book on a script she "almost" sold 23 years ago, to "MacGyver." (Well, they told me they liked it, and if I wanted to rewrite it, they would be glad to look at it, but by the time I rewrote it they had already chosen the scripts for the final half-season, so ... It still counts as an "almost," doesn't  it?)  Check out the Desert Breeze Facebook page in a few days, and Michelle's web site, to learn how you can get a copy of the original script that inspired it all.

NEW releases in the Chorillan Cycle: BY FIRE AND STARS and CHORILLAN

Oaktara Publishers has released the third and fourth books in Michelle Levigne's Chorillan Cycle: BY FIRE AND STARS, and CHORILLAN. Available in print and e-book formats.

What are they about?

The Chorillan Cycle takes place in the Commonwealth Universe series of science fiction books, in what is termed the "present era." In the first two books, AZULI EYES and SCOUTS' PRIDE, we visit the colony world of Chorillan, meet Scout Captain Ian Fieran and his team, Miranda Riallon, a teacher, and learn about the mystery of Phase that drives children into the wilderness with sensory overload. Then, years later, Miranda dies of the same wasting illness that killed her father, and Ian returns to the Scout Corps, taking their daughter, Kay'li, with him to protect her from Phase. Kay'li grows up among the Scouts, learning to be a hero and to fight for what is right.

In BY FIRE AND STARS, we return to Chorillan, where Lucas Aidan, Kay'li's best friend, goes through Phase. His parents try to hide the truth and keep him hidden until Phase has passed, because of the prejudice and fear directed at Wildlings, the victims of Phase. A terrible accident separates Lucas from his family and he flees to the wilderness in fear and pain. He stays out there through two winters, longer than any child has survived -- or so the authorities think -- and learns about Chorillan from the Azuli. When he is finally captured and forced to return to civilization, he has a mission and a duty, given to him by the Azuli, other Wildlings, and Fi'in. Will he succeed?

In CHORILLAN, Kay'li returns to Chorillan leading a secret Scout team to investigate the truth about what causes Phase, who is generating the unreasonable fear and hatred of Wildlings and why, and bring justice to the colony. She and Lucas team up for the adventure of a lifetime, just as they had dreamed and vowed to each other as children -- but this adventure could cost them their lives.

14th Tabor Heights, Ohio novel now available: COOKING UP TROUBLE

Come back to Tabor Heights, Ohio and watch the fun as the paparazzi gather like sharks in a feeding frenzy, trying to get the inside scoop on Max and Tony's wedding.

Max's half-brother, Steve Vincente, has come back to Tabor to get to know his just-discovered sister better. He soon becomes an integral part of Homespun Theater, as well as helping Max navigate the perilous waters of being the daughter of celebrities. When he is cast opposite Audrey in Romeo and Juliet, he discovers that maybe Audrey was another reason to come back to town.

Audrey lives for two things: cooking, and theater. Being asked to help Homespun launch a dinner theater is just up her alley. She doesn't plan on the friendship and partnership that develops between her and Steve, first on stage, then building the dinner theater, then helping deflect the intrusions from the media. Having the paparazzi insinuate she's "auditioning" to join the famous Vincente family through marriage isn't half as troubling as the painful, unwanted memories and visitors from her past who crop up in her life, thanks to the unwanted publicity. She's never told anyone her shameful secrets and wounded past, but she's starting to think maybe keeping secrets is preventing her from finding a happy future.

COOKING UP TROUBLE is the second book in Year Two of the Tabor Heights series, the 14th full-length novel, published by Desert Breeze Publishing.

Check out Michelle Levigne's web site and the Tabor Heights blog for more information, excerpts, and sneak previews!
